Our Communities
As of June 2024, HAND owns 10 affordable apartment communities in Hamilton, Boone, and Tipton counties, leasing a total of 153 units to low- and moderate-income residents. HAND follows LEED environmental building standards, provides energy-efficient appliances, and incorporates Universal Design principles such as zero-threshold doorways.
Hamilton County
Cumberland Cottages is located in Fishers and will consist of eight 2- and 3-bedroom duplex units and three 3-bedroom cottages. These units are open to families of all ages.
Home Place Gardens is located in Carmel and consists of eight 1- and 2-bedroom duplex units that are open to seniors 55 and up. Home Place Gardens also has two 3-bedroom houses that are open to families of all ages.
Lakeside Gardens is located in Cicero and consists of five 2-bedroom units. These units are open to seniors 55 and older.
Pebble Brook Gardens is located in Noblesville and consists of nine 2-bedroom attached units. These units are open to seniors 55 and older.
Plum Tree Gardens is located in downtown Noblesville and consists of six 2-bedroom duplex units. These units are open to seniors 55 and older.
Roper Capstone is located in downtown Noblesville and consists of six 1-bedroom units all in one historic building. These units are open to all ages.
Roper Lofts is located in downtown Noblesville and consists of eight 1-bedroom units in two historic buildings. These units are open to all ages.
Spicewood Gardens is located in Sheridan and consists of 60 2-bedroom duplex units. These units are open to seniors 55 and older.
Boone County
Hickory Commons is located in Lebanon and consists of 22 2-bedroom duplex units. These units are open to all ages.
Tipton County
Southwood Villas is located in Tipton and consists of five 2-bedroom units. These units are open to seniors 55 and older.
