About Trivia Night
HAND’s most popular event returns on Nov. 5, 2026. Doors open at 6PM, followed quickly by the dinner buffet and cash bar. Trivia starts at 7PM.
Gather your team of eight for five rounds of general trivia questions and put your wits to the test to support a good cause (#housing4all). The top-scoring team will win prizes, of course, and we also have other fun “best” awards (costumes, table decorations, etc.)
And don’t forget to bring cash for a chance to win some fabulous raffle prizes.
All proceeds benefit HAND. 21+ event.
This Year’s Theme: Once Upon a Trivia Night
Choose a favorite children’s book or character and bring it to life with team costumes and table décor. Think storybook classics, childhood favorites or characters everyone will recognize. However you interpret the theme, get creative! Prizes will once again be HANDed out for the best team costumes and table décor.
And while you’re bringing a story to life, consider bringing a new children’s book, too. As a small nod to Dolly Parton and the millions of books she helped put into the hands of children, we’ll share the books collected that evening with our youngest HAND residents and families at The O’Connor House.
