HAND Inc. is excited to announce its next affordable rental development: Stony Creek Duets in Noblesville.
The Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority has awarded HAND funding to build three three-bedroom duplexes for families at 1500 Greenfield Ave., property the Noblesville-based nonprofit bought earlier this year. An existing manufactured home on the site will be demolished.
Construction on the new rental homes is expected to begin this spring and be complete by the end of 2025.
Planning is underway for a proposed second phase of development on an adjacent parcel of land. HAND will apply for construction funding in March in hoping of building six to eight more units at what is now 1488 Greenfield Ave.
Hamilton County’s Community Development Block Grant program provided the funding needed to acquire the properties, which back up to the playground behind Stony Creek Elementary School.
